My works are about people who, instead of getting along with others, choose to keep a distance from them, and be invisible or be left alone unconcerned. There are some people who crave companionship, some who are impartial to even the most unfamiliar of company and who find solace in pleasantries, intimate and distant alike.....others find such tremendous anxiety in general accompaniments that it is, to those, rarely worth the body heat.  The former can be quite enviable at times.  If only for the chance that we keep our distance not because we don't want our virtues appreciated, but because even that may not, to us, be worth having our vices exposed.  More on Yu Jinyoung's work later....I really dig it is all.
