Berlin Shrimp in New Orleans.
| it was truly a beautiful berl. |
So we had our second official boil of the season on Sunday when the parades are just beginning to gear up for New Orleans' Carnivale.
On the grill we did:
Chicken legs
Boudin
Polish kielbasa
Cajun smoked sausage
Char-grilled tri-color peppers
In the pot we did:
Fresh louisiana shrimp
New Potatos
Peppers
Red & Yellow Onion
Whole Garlic
Mushrooms
More Smoked Sausage
+ your usual table top snacks:
Zaps Voodoo Chips, Guac, Mango Salsa, Chex Mix, Salami & Cheese, yellow grape tomatoes, Fresh French Bread for soakin up that berled Spice.
To drink, I set up a mojito station with fresh mint, a bowl of sugar, bacardi, perrier, limes, and a muddler. Obviously I also set up a bloody mary station. In the cooler we had a sundry assortment of ice cold beer.
All in all it was a great day, and this time I could get my rings off at the end of it ;-)
